Recharge Privacy Policy

Recharge reads selected Apple Health data only after you grant permission. It does not require an account and does not write to Apple Health.

Health and profile data

The app may read workouts, workout heart rate, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, sleep, active energy, respiratory rate, one-minute heart-rate recovery, cardio fitness (VO2 max), body mass, date of birth, and biological sex to calculate a cardiovascular training-load recovery estimate. Recharge may derive a session load, observed maximum heart rate, training level, recovery window, and personal recovery factor from those readings. Health data, estimates, and answers you enter are processed and stored locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Recharge does not upload Health data, use it for advertising or marketing, sell it, or share it with third parties. Revoking access in iOS Settings stops new reads; use Settings in Recharge to delete its local cache.

Purchases

Recharge+ purchases are processed by Apple and entitlement status is verified by RevenueCat. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user ID, purchase and entitlement information, and limited technical context to provide purchases and restore access. It does not receive your HealthKit data, estimates, or answers. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

Recharge stores its local cache in an App Group excluded from device backup. You can delete imported workouts, estimates, snapshots, and Health-derived profile values from Settings › Delete local health data, or remove the app. This does not delete records from Apple Health and does not delete Apple or RevenueCat transaction records. Apple and RevenueCat retain transaction records under their policies.

Children and changes

Recharge is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. We may update this policy when the app or its services change.
