I finished a workout and there is no countdown
Walks, yoga, and mobility work are treated as active recovery and never start a countdown. Other sessions still need enough duration and intensity to produce a meaningful cardiovascular load. Recharge+ also compares that load with your own recent training, so a session below the quietest part of your history may be skipped.
My lifting session was scored as easy
The Apple Watch optical sensor loses the heart-rate signal under grip and bar contact, so a heavy session can look like an easy one. When that happens Recharge asks one question, Light, Moderate, or Hard, on the phone or on the wrist, and recalculates from your answer.
Functional and hybrid training is scored wrong
Apple Health reports these sessions the same way it reports other functional training, so Recharge cannot tell the exact format automatically. Settings › Model › Functional and hybrid training sets the default curve for ambiguous sessions. Recharge+ also lets you correct a session's intensity from its entry in History.
The complication is not updating
watchOS budgets how often a complication may refresh, so the countdown can lag by a few minutes. Opening the Recharge app on either device brings it back in step. Settings › Watch complication also changes what it displays: the hours countdown, the estimated ready time, or the state.
What does countdown complete mean?
A completed countdown means the training-load estimate has run out. It is not a statement about muscle repair, illness, injury risk, or whether you are fit to train.
Managing your subscription
Recharge+ is managed in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your iPhone. The Lifetime purchase is one-time and does not renew. Use Restore in the app's Settings if a purchase does not appear on a new device.
