My minutes in daylight are always zero

Time in Daylight is recorded by Apple Watch using its ambient light sensor, and it needs watchOS 10 or later. An iPhone on its own does not record it. Everything else in the app still works: daylight remaining, sunrise, sunset, day length, and your deadline all come from the sun rather than from a sensor. A sleeve covering the watch also suppresses the reading.

Sunrise and sunset look wrong

Open Settings in the app and check whether Sunset times reads "Approximate". Without location access the app falls back to a default position, which can be hours off. Grant location access, or check that your device's time zone is correct for where you are.

Apple Health data is missing

Open Settings in the app, confirm Apple Health access, then check Sources. A source can be excluded without deleting its Health data. The app only ever reads; it never writes to Apple Health.

The Personal Daylight Model has no result

Each signal needs at least 14 days containing both daylight and that Health record. Missing data is left out rather than treated as zero. Apple does not tell apps whether read access was denied, so use Connect or review access in Daylight Settings to review the types you chose. It is also normal for the model to find no clear relationship.

The app says my target is out of reach

That means the daylight left before sunset is less than the minutes you still need. It is a statement about the sun, not a judgment. In winter at high latitudes it will happen often, and lowering your target in Settings is a reasonable response.

The sun does not rise or set where I am

Above the polar circles the app says so directly instead of showing a time. During polar night it also shows the civil twilight window, which is the part of the day that is still usefully light.

Restore Daylight+

Open Settings, choose Daylight+, then select Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
