By using StatScout, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
StatScout provides visual percentile rankings and leaderboards for baseball players using publicly available pitch-tracking data. The app is for informational and entertainment purposes only.
In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
StatScout offers the following optional Pro purchases, each of which unlocks the same Pro features (historical seasons, player comparisons, and year-over-year tracking):
- Monthly subscription — auto-renewing, billed once per month.
- Yearly subscription — auto-renewing, billed once per year, includes an introductory free trial for eligible new subscribers.
- Lifetime — a single non-consumable purchase.
Pricing is displayed in the App Store and in the in-app paywall in your local currency before purchase.
Billing & Auto-Renewal
All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are charged to the payment method on your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewing subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the price disclosed at the time of purchase, unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Apple ID account settings on your device (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals; access to Pro features continues until the end of the current paid period.
Free Trial
If you start the yearly subscription with a free trial, the trial automatically converts into a paid subscription at the trial's end unless you cancel before the trial ends. The free trial is available only to eligible new subscribers as determined by Apple. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds
Purchases and subscriptions are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or by Apple's refund policies. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restore Purchases
If you have previously purchased Pro on the same Apple ID, you can re-unlock Pro on any device by tapping Restore Purchases in the in-app About screen.
Intellectual Property
All baseball statistics displayed in StatScout are sourced from publicly available data. Team names and abbreviations are used for identification and informational purposes only. StatScout is not affiliated with or endorsed by Major League Baseball, MLB Advanced Media, MLBPA, or any team.
