Overview

StatScout is a mobile-first baseball analytics app that provides visual percentile rankings and leaderboards. Your privacy is fundamental to how this app is built.

Data Collection

StatScout does not create accounts, sell data, show ads, or use third-party tracking.

• No personal identifiers (name, email, phone) are collected
• No search history or location data is tracked
• No analytics SDKs or tracking pixels are used
• No advertising SDKs are used
• No account creation required

Data Usage

StatScout fetches publicly available baseball statistics from our remote database. These network requests transmit standard technical information (such as your IP address) necessary for the server to fulfill the request. This technical data is not linked to any personal identity by StatScout and is not used by StatScout for tracking.

Local Storage

Your app preferences (such as selected categories) are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device.

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

StatScout offers optional Pro purchases: a Monthly auto-renewing subscription, a Yearly auto-renewing subscription with an introductory free trial, and a Lifetime one-time purchase.

All payment processing is handled securely by Apple through the App Store. StatScout does not collect or store your payment information. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; free trials convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time from your Apple ID Subscriptions settings.

Purchase offerings and entitlement status are verified through RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user ID, device-level identifiers, and your App Store purchase history so it can verify entitlements across launches and devices. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any identifier you provided to Apple. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.

Children's Privacy

StatScout does not knowingly collect information from children. The app does not collect information from any user.
