Quit Zyn is a nicotine-free tracking app for iPhone and Apple Watch. It helps you track your journey with a day counter, virtual garden, health benefit timeline, journaling, achievements, and more. All data stays on your device. No account required.

Getting Started

Onboarding: When you first open Quit Zyn, you'll set your start date, daily spending estimate, daily pouches-per-day estimate, and reminder time. You can change any of these later in Settings.
Daily check-in: Open the Today tab and tap the check-in button once per day. This waters your garden and logs the day as nicotine-free.
Resetting: If you need to reset your nicotine-free counter, tap the reset button in the Today view toolbar. Your previous journey history is preserved.

Features

Today: Day counter, garden, check-in button, next milestone, next health benefit.
Calendar: Color-coded monthly view: green (nicotine-free), red (slip), gray (not checked in).
Health: 13 health benefits on a recovery timeline from the ACS, NCI, and AHA. The first 2 are free; all 13 unlock with Bloom+.
Journal: Daily reflection prompts with a feeling picker. Requires Pro.
Achievements: 9 milestones across time and check-in streaks. Requires Pro.
Stats: Money, pouches, and nicotine saved since starting. Requires Pro.
Garden: Virtual garden with 6 bonsai styles plus decorations you unlock over time. The Traditional bonsai is free; Cascading, Cherry Blossom, Japanese Maple, Black Pine, and Windswept unlock with Bloom+.

Troubleshooting

Garden not growing: Make sure you check in each day. The garden progresses based on your current streak length.
Widgets not updating: Open Quit Zyn once to refresh the widget cache. Widgets update every 30 minutes.
Check-in not working: You can only check in once per day for the current day. Check your Today view to see today's status.
Data not appearing: All data is stored locally via SwiftData. If you're seeing corruption, the app will automatically attempt recovery.

Bloom+ Subscriptions

Upgrade: Open Settings → Bloom+ → Upgrade, or tap any locked Pro feature in the app.
Free trial: New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial on monthly or yearly plans (offered by Apple; eligibility varies).
Restore: Settings → Bloom+ → Restore Purchases, or Restore Purchases on the upgrade screen.
Manage or cancel: iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Quit Zyn. Lifetime purchases do not renew.
Refunds: Request through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Privacy

Quit Zyn does not create an account, does not send your data to any server, and does not include analytics, ads, or tracking. All data is stored locally on your device.
