Streak Finder is a personal fitness streak tracking app that automatically discovers and visualizes your activity streaks from Apple Health. Your privacy is fundamental to how this app is built.

Data Collection

Streak Finder does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data.

• No data is sent to any server
• No analytics or tracking of any kind
• No third-party SDKs or frameworks
• No advertising
• No account creation required

HealthKit Data

Streak Finder requests read-only access to the following HealthKit data types:

• Step Count
• Exercise Minutes
• Apple Stand Hour
• Active Energy Burned
• Workouts
• Mindful Minutes
• Sleep Analysis
• Distance Walking & Running
• Flights Climbed
• Heart Rate

This data is read from Apple Health and used to compute streaks within the app. Streak Finder never writes to or modifies your health records. HealthKit data is processed entirely on your device and is used solely to discover and display your fitness streaks.

Your health data is never used for advertising, marketing, data mining, or any purpose other than displaying your personal streaks within the app. Your health data is never shared with third parties.

You can revoke Streak Finder's access to your health data at any time by going to Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Streak Finder and turning off all permissions.

Local Storage

Streak Finder stores a local cache of your daily activity summaries on your device. This cache enables widgets and complications to display your data without querying HealthKit every time. This data never leaves your device.

Your preferences (metric toggles, notification settings, appearance) are stored locally in UserDefaults on your device.

Notifications

If you enable at-risk streak reminders, Streak Finder schedules local notifications via UNUserNotificationCenter. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device. They never leave your device.

Data Retention & Deletion

All data remains on your device until you delete the app. Deleting Streak Finder removes all locally stored data. No data persists on any external server because no data is ever transmitted externally.

To delete your data, you can either uninstall the app (which removes all stored data) or revoke HealthKit access in Settings to stop all data reading. No additional request is needed since no data exists outside your device.

Children's Privacy

Streak Finder does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not collect any information from any user.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
